The last movie i saw was Man of Steel, i’m not a lover of Superman, but i just randomly picked that title long long ago (more than a week, i miss you cinema). And as a melancholic woman, (eaaa) i always catch the melancholic parts of movie as the most important part making me love the movie or not.
This movie was a bit parental i think, i love the part when Kevin Costner, the adoptive father of Clark Kent/Kal EL, doesnt let his son to show his prodigy, until he dying for saving his adoptive son. I cried heavily following the scene of tornado killing him. Lois Lane, the royal adoptive mom is my favorit too.
The action and the love? to be honest, a bit boring.
You just have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be, Clark. Whoever that man is, he’s going to change the world. -Jonathan Ken
Clark Kent/Kal-El: The world’s too big, Mom | Martha Kent: then make it small. Focus on my voice. Pretend it’s an island out in the ocean. Can you see it? | Clark Kent/Kal-El: I see it.
